Groups and Events
We take pride in the quality of the service we give and the scope of group travel services that we can offer. We are also certain that you would rather hear this from our clients, and not from us.
We therefore highlight some of our client comments on this page, for you to see.

Hi Stephen
Just thought I would drop you a note to say thanks for all your help last week (and the weeks prior to this), particularly with the French trip which went very smoothly. It's been a pleasure working with you!

Canterbury City Council - IPR Conference, Canterbury 2004
Thank you so very much for helping to arrange the Institute of Public Relations Conference in Canterbury for us. We could not have done this without your help. Your ideas for the Gala Dinner miraculously transformed the stark 70's interior into a Kent Countryside setting. Everything went according to plan and it was a great success - some of the individuals even went as far as to say that it was the best conference the IPR have held.
Once again thank you.

British Chess Federation - Crete
In November 2004, the Greek island of Crete became host to one of our regular clients, the British Chess Federation. On this occasion, we arranged flights for 42 guests, both players and their families, to travel to the island. By obtaining the best group fares, and enlisting the dedicated service provided by Olympic Airways, we are pleased to have contributed once again to the success of this latest tour. The group has now returned, everything having gone well, including the chess!
Their tour leader, Peter Turner was kind enough even to take time to advise us of his appreciation at the time of their departure from Heathrow. He has since said he is delighted to fully endorse this article, and added "many thanks to Medway Travel for an excellent and reliable service".
We are delighted to learn that they are now planning the next trip for April 2005.

BNI - Maidstone
This is just a short note to express our grateful thanks for organising the business trip to visit our BNI colleagues in Eire. The flights and accommodation which were booked were more than satisfactory.
Although the visit lasted but a few days, the information and assistance you gave us proved to be very beneficial which contribued to the success of a very enjoyable trip.

H & H Celcon – Sevenoaks
Medway Travel arranged an incentive trip for a group of suppliers to Toronto in June 2003, and paid all deposits just before the SARS scare. Obviously, our client was unwilling to conduct the trip while there was a serious threat to health but this meant that the deposit payments for the ground arrangements were non-refundable. Keith Wright, through clever negotiation, managed to limit the losses and re-arranged the trip for September.
Natalie Holloway, travel booker for H & H Celcon, says:
"I have been dealing with Medway Travel for over over 4 years I know that I can depend on them to always think of solutions from the customers viewpoint, which I find very refreshing."

I just wanted to say thank you for all your help in organising the Burns supper on Friday. Everything went exceptionally well and the venue and food were absolutely fantastic. You were an enormous help and made organising everything so much easier.
Once again a huge thank you.

Edinburgh was the chosen venue for the annual conference of the UK offices of a globally recognised Accountancy firm.
For this event, Medway Travel Management was selected, to support the specialist conference organiser, by negotiating and managing the travel arrangements for the delegates.
Flight reservations began at the beginning of June, with Medway Travel anticipating a total of approximately 400 travellers. By researching and offering competitive fares, and by meeting the challenge of last minute changes of plan by those delegates originally due to go by rail, but whose journeys would have been seriously disrupted by last minute engineering work, we finally secured seats for 625 air passengers. We had to use a mixture of individual reservations for delegates from the London area, and group bookings for their colleagues based in the Channel Islands. We also kept running manifests of who was on which flights and limit the numbers of both delegates and Directors on each flight to a strictly determined maximum, for insurance reasons, keeping both the organiser and the client informed with detailed status reports on a regular basis.
We feel proud to have been a part of this successful event, and look forward to providing our services for their future conferences.
